Why do I need weep hole protection?

- The Protector Weep Hole Screen creates an impenetrable stainless steel barrier for a number of pests including, mice, spiders, cockroaches and snakes (for termite deterrence use the Weepa Termite Protector).
- It also provides protection from embers and is compliant with the requirements of all Bushfire Attack Levels (BALs) as per Australian Standard 3959:2018.

Building or renovating a home?
For perfect weep holes from the start, install Weepa weep hole formers (“Weepas”) into the brickwork during the construction of homes or extensions.
Weepas ensure good ventilation and drainage from the weep holes, whilst providing protection from pests and bushfire embers.
A range of different pre-construction Weepas are available depending on brick sizes and requirements.
The correct Weepa should be specified on plans to ensure installation is carried out by the brick layer during the construction.
